sounds good put please dont put HIDs in your headlights - your headlight is the glass type -and at the risk or boring you to death with such things like refractive indexes and such - you WILL be blinding other drivers -

I used hids in my b13 plastic headlights with no problems. Worked like a charm, improved visibility and didnt blind the opposing car....

The problem is that the HID bulb scatters light when it's not placed in a projector. The projector directs the light beam. If you notice that the high end cars that come with HIDs have projector headlamps and the beam is directed and has a sharp cut off. If your normal headlamp housing isn't adjusted to direct the beam downward, there is the possibility of blinding oncoming drivers.

That's the word I was looking for - projectors. Any idea of the prices for the hid bulb and the projector lamps?

Update : changing all four shocks this month. Yeah we'll be riding higher but also we'll be riding more comfortably. That is until we drop it back lol. Maybe some coilover sleeves.

2. Custom made adapter plate for ITB's to bolt to engine cylinder head
3. Management to control fuel/air mixture
4. Rerouting of other hardware/water lines etc

Unless you want to be really different, the cost is not worth it IMO.
Nissan is such a (no offense) cheap brand to work with, as there are loads of options for going fast and reasonable prices.

Maybe you can toss it up and get a 4WD platform and go 4WD SR20 Turbo.

Either way, tons of options out there but it all boils down to your budget or lack thereof.

Wrt management, the car has a safc neo. Would that suffice? (Ease me if is a stupid question, I really eh know.) And the cost of these items listed, what may they be?

Boy if we were to do a sr swap that would be real sheit to take from my grandparents and parents who don't want us driving fast car and spending money on something that isnt broken if ya know what I mean. How long would the transplant take? Like to change the engines out.

7500-8000 for a sr20det avenir. Not sure about the gtir since it makes almost no sense.

a gearbox sells for around 2500-3000 for a non lsd box and 5000ish for a LSD box. Thats with full axles ect.


a good sr20 lowport with a gearbox and you in the dance, later change to DET or VE if you want.

from there the fun begins.

And the hunt for "budget fyahs" continues. It have a man selling a LSD gearbox for ga16 for 2k . Ppl telling me thaz a real good buy but that man from penal and I go need a tour guide \ slight mechanic to go with me and check it out.

Also saw a guy with ITBS for sr20 for sale as well. I think he wanted 2500 for them and a gtir head or something like that. i know a sr is not a ga and was doing some research on a Nissan forum and some men say you have to redrill something on it to fit the ga. Opinions on if this is a good deal\feasible thing to do if we decide on going na?

Nah bai naldo. I good. Keeping the GA for the time being. Maybe after I get a work an ting and we've built the feerk out of the GA we might consider going sr. But for now the GA stays.
