The motorsport world ISN'T karting alone, my friend. Same applies to D&W... 'dex etc.
Give it a little time, panda. Those really in the know seem to have a solution to it soon.

At this point, there should be only one solution, and the only way forward.

Scrap the failed Governing Body and start over. Rather than we pull together and demand change, some organisations chose to have one foot in and one foot out, indecisively confused where to go or just in case as they deal on the side.

If we keep doing so, rape will become legal and also extortion. I will pray for us as we continue to encourage dotishness.

IMHO "the only way forward"... is NOT to waste time trying to... "Scrap the failed Governing Body and start over."
Youthful aggression has its place... but NOT in this instance. We bickered for FIFTY YEARS... and FAILED to get anywhere!
Can you think of any organisation or individual who will VOLUNTARILY relinquish power...
just because a group of dissidents (us) say so?
Do you think that ANY Gov't will revoke a Parliamentary Charter (That's what TTASA has!)...
just because the same group of dissidents (us) say to do it? (btw it's the same question)... Good luck with that effort!

How long have you been waiting for that elusive "Privately owned" drag strip again?
These things cost MILLIONS and usually can't be achieved without Gov't support...
because it's usually NOT financially viable in such a small market like T&T for "private" investors ALONE.

IMHO we'll NEVER get off this "Merry-go-round" by bickering and confrontation...
and NOBODY (not us... or anyone else) will ever convince ANY Gov't to support them in preference to other groups either.

Either we ALL get together and negotiate a COMPROMISE that suits the MAJORITY (but not everyone)...
or do without a Gov't-supported/sanctioned Motorsport facility for another 50 years... or more!
I think it's time to stop "spitting in the breeze!"
