GTR Fever, Well done dude u beat me to it as I wanted to start the same Rex project. What diff you running? Hope you know the stock rear bushing wont hold up to 400hp + abuse. The 850 cab may be a bit to big for the combo unless you running a higher that normal strip/street roller camm with real high compression in the 12 or 13 to 1 ratios. Another thing where you gonna get gas to run high compression. Anyway well done on the project

cams are roller cams yes but i believe they are either half race or something more aggressive..

thanks tho guys!

bonnet was cut thanks to the high rise manifold..but i'm going to build a custom bonnet with a scoop in the near future

moti, car was built for my dad..i would still prefer the rotary but the V8 is beginning to grow on me

bonnet cut aside, I like it :)
Engine sitting nice and far back, behind the front axle centreline....should still handle nicely

blasphemy only applies when putting japanese engines in old british cars to make them fast and reliable :P

you'all talking what you don't know about.

until you have driven a FD3S R1 with an 8 cylinder [V8] and manual transmission,please keep them words to yourself. ROTARY fan attics have driven mine and they are amazed at the handling and power compared to the wankel.
