u don't want to get a closer look, trust me
the rocker panels were patched so many times, the car is now banana shaped, ie higher at the middle than at the ends............it keeps changing colour..........it was also green, and gold.....the owner tried to buy my spare bonnet once.......we told him it was not for sale, at which point he got quite agitated, telling us he uses his car every day, while we has never seen ours on the road,so he was more deserving of the bonnet, never mind I've had that bonnet since 1980 even when I didn't even have a car......

yeah he's been driving that car around for years.......but he has an over inflated idea of how good it is........the suspension is off, the folding top needs to find jesus
The first time he inquired about the bonnet (before I bought my car), I told him I'd take $800 for it...he got upset and left...........the second time he came with money in hand and we blanked him.........man get real vex and ignorant
He passed by a few weeks ago, mildly intoxicated, and was asking about our new (old) convertible........then began ranting again that he never saw it on the road and we probably don't deserve it..........very weird fellow...........his son had a nice frogeye Sprite, but with a datsun engine, so he used to refuse to open the bonnet

we had one like his many years ago with a similar number, PK2280........which is now in even worse condition than his............well it's more like junk now :(

I feel sorry for that yellow/white 55 Chevy in the other thread.. Who ever put those rims on it should be shot with sheit & then tied to an ants patch! The color combo is beautiful but it would look so much better with either original wheels & white walls (2") or PROPER (none of that cheap arse chrome sheit Trini does crave) aftermarket weeks

Metropolitan...........was made as both a Nash and an Austin
this one is an Austin
Probably the gayest thing to leave the Austin factory
I seriously considered buying this car and doing a two-tone pink / white theme, using white with pink pearls, and pink with white pearls............but they were asking 12k for it...........waaaay too much

there was one in Pt......had to be moved because the industrial estate absorbed some homes..........the dude wanted 30k for it...I just laughed
Parts for those are hard to come by, especially trim etc...not worth the effort unless you building some sort of hotrod

Think I saw that Benz entering Valsayn two weeks ago. Also saw a mint Carrera 911, PBH with a lovely high rear spoiler, sort of white creamish in colour.
