That b14 was new or used? Let's take the hottest vehicle out right now, the new vezel, brand new ansa have it for 310 which is def over priced, fully loaded btw, the z model new from the cheapest places would be around 250 -260, so that's about 50 - 60 grand off, granted I would prefer the local model, but to me that 60 k is a big diff.

Now if we go used that same z model would be around 210 with about 15000km, which is the same average new price for the x model (new base) so, I know back then they never used to bring in new vehicles also the age of the vehicles they could bring in was older iirc, ro ro importers had a deal for Christmas where you could get a new x model for about 199 which isn't bad. I'm sure if ansa could bring in the x model they would charge a 250 new for it.

My B14 was used 3 years old. I paid 60000

However mine was the super saloon an ex saloon could be had for 40000.

A new one was around 150000 if I remember correctly in 2000

This was a huge percentage differential

A poor man could have gotten a 3 year old vehicle at a substantial discount

I think now the prices of cars at Grey dealers are not really reachable by the average person who in reality might be making not more than 5000 a month

That's half the price

I doh think we getting any 3 year old now for half the price of a new one

Most infotainment systems can be flashed with new firmware like a phone. Only issue might be the ability to tune into local stations.

Forgot to add …. Difference in spec is 360 camera, leather, panoramic moonroof and foot swipe to open tailgate (I think that’s it, going by memory)

Vezel is the new tiida. The good thing about so much being sold, parts already stocking in the bamboo...saw an entire nose cut already

The parts for the 3 door were manufactured in Japan and then assembled in India. Production and assembly of the 3 door has shifted back to Japan. The 5 door is manufactured in India.

Good day all, so was told by an ansa rep that they not bringing in the civic as it's too expensive to bring in now, does anyone even know the cost to bring one in now? As far as I know all the compact cars in the u.s. have comparable prices, so what's the problem?

Apparently Honda is a luxury brand in their eyes, they cannot compete with the Koreans with the markup they would want to implement. Plus what's the ratio of Vezels vs HRVs in the country now.... People have finally begun to see the light.

around $220k TTD for a 2021 FL1 if you import it yourself with no assistance whatsover

now lemme ask you this:

- Do you have $220k cash to import it yourself?
- Do you have $22,000 USD to pay the exporter?

But Daihatsu just got caught cheating on their crash safety rating. Driving in T&T without a 5 star crash safety rating is not a good idea.

Jus spoke with Toyota ..they only special ordering the base corolla cross model....steups.
I guess it not viable in our market like the corolla sedan.
