anyone ever used this or similar?:

http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars/ex ... -restorer/

I'm trying to restore the exterior trim around my quarter panel (replacing is not an option since the trim is built into the glass and a new one is $300USD :| ). I got the oxidation out by using some elbow grease, water and 1200 grit sandpaper...looks much better now but it doesnt have that fresh, dark look to it and I dont want to keep applying autoglym bumper care every 2 weeks..so..

Polished and waxed the cefiro. It feels so good now :D. I should have washed the tires and rims though lol :?

looks good DVTT , keep it up and dress the tires with some nice tire dressing.

r3ixmann, i have used some permanent trim restorer and it does work good. I have not really check for longevity as i habitually dress my trims with often with either the Auto Glym or the trade version of the Meguiars trim dressing.

I estimate that you should dress your trims at least once a month for good protection.

The AutoGlym Body Work Shampoo is a nice maintenance shampoo. I call it the lazy man car wash because it does make your paint look like it was just polished. The Meguiars Ultimate Wash and Wax is also nice, but IMO the AutoGlym has a slight edge over the Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax.
