yeah Z, the temp. remained @ 190 degrees F. have not tuned engine yet.
clutch master cylinder piston melted, yes melted because i omitted to replace the heat sheild that kept the radiating exhaust heat from heating the clutch master cylinder.
the fans are original Mazda 4 wire. you can get them from Mazda Tune in San Fernando, also the Nissan auto have been using a variation of this type cooling fan.
just ask for a 4 wire fan.

fans got 4 wires 2 positive 2 negative.
1 pos & 1 neg =1 speed
add the next pos =2 nd speed
add the other neg =3 rd speed

yes that van is local. for those who seem to be getting emo about it, it's currently located in barataria (that's a big hint right there).

the best part is it is as pristine as a show car (you could eat off the engine), yet will be a monster on the strip. the owner knows his way around sub 10 second cars and drag strips.

the exhaust alone is a thing of beauty (X pipes, the works).

i wish i had pics roadracer7. i think bezman prolly has more pics.

the owner is keeping a lid on the car for now. i only happened across it at a nearby exhaust shop when I went with a friend to get an estimate for work on his car.

the owner's shop is a thing of beauty. the display where he has his "old" wallers drag car is amazing (it is like in a glass case).

seeing it up close was an experience like non other.
