ok so two episodes of season 13 gone so far and based on this i was wondering, where has the proposed budget cuts for the program been made? Seems like the same great production and well produced shows of season 12.

something a bit suspect with that shootout of the Bugatti vs McLaren F1, even with Hammond at the wheels of the Veyron it should have easily beaten the F1 from a standstill all the way thru the mile sprint. I am a big McLaren fan and its still the fastest N/A supercar in the world but something just doesn't add up...

Compare the figures for yourself and see what i mean

noshownogo, agreed. I finally got a chance to watch the episode, and after the F1 vs Veyron test I couldn't help wondering if the F1 was modified in some way.
Oh and talk about women overload

I think that's their way of showing that they don't need a woman added onto the cast :wink:

if you look at the first times....you'll see why.....the 1/2 sec or so gap from the start...the F1 is in front.....now remember...they going full bore so the Vey has to overcome the gap and pass the F1 while they still on the bore....which is why it took so long....

..another thing....certain part of the vid, u see the spoiler come up...affecting the top speed of the Vey....which i can't understand why...but i have seen TG splice bits of vid to make one feature run...and just do voice overs...

...then, Ham is no Stig....who launches better.... :mrgreen:

...but great show as always....and that chick behind Ham in the news... uuugghhh....

for a car over 10yrs old, it held its own against the new tech involved in the Veyron and remember the McLaren is naturally aspirated :twisted:

increased air resistance.
makes for better road stability by planting the tires, but still resistance none the less.

yup the producers have said in the past that they do extra filming to get additional shots so maybe not all are from the actual race itself.

^ wasnt in the corolla, and it was hard to attempt it in the celica as the back tires and fenders was rubbing on every corner and yes the tall enoes girl was watching the celica
