Just decided to post some pics of mine of the hot action today... before it goes up in the gallery.

From a spectator's point of view, Solodex was descent! I actually used up the whole 1GB memory stick.

yea all those at dex know pics will be taken. if u eh want you plate showing then is up to u to take it off.

i leave it on knowing it will be posted up.. we all know the possiblity it will make the site so if u eh want it to make teh site, remove it yourself

ppl, i think the reason why lp#'s are normally blacked out is more out of security.

how unlikely is it for someone to obtain the certified copy of your car? then show up at your home, (the address of the last known owner is on there), to steal your vehicle.


anyway rensh fantastic pics boss. i would love to know how do you get at least the nose of the vehicle to stay in focus while everything else blurs. will you be giving photography pointers anytime soon?

wagonrunner: Me? Pointers? lol... well I guess so.
First of all you need a good camera.. one that supports the panning feature. That's the best feature for shooting race cars. It keeps the moving car in sharp focus and blurs anything in the background as you can see there. Also, you need good still and sturdy hands for the pics not to come out blurry. And of course a good shooting position. (Thanks to Duane for putting me out on the field... I can't wait for my press pass :D). And amm... what else... practice I guess.

agreed about blanking the #plates........cuz with the car I borrowed, for example, the owner prefers to keep it low key, so I asked Andre and Christian not to take pics / vids, but obviously u cannot track down every person with a camera, so out of common courtesy, I think ppl should blank out #plates when posting......its as easy as opening images and using the polygon tool........no maths in dat

yeah, but there are others like it on de road.........remember, she was not driving it, but ppl will know the car by de #, and make wrong assumptions....all I am saying is if u must take pics of ppls cars, at least hide the plates......suppose for example, you want to sell your car, but then the buyer says "na na na, I does see dat car gettin bang up in dis racin car thing meh son does watch on de internet....."

Notice all the pics I send you have plates blanked. I would be happy to do this for all CARS events if you send me the pics. I dont see why our members / competitors should have to go thru the trouble of removing plates.....plus some cars have adhesive plates, and others like the HSR are screwed onto a fibreglass spoiler.....continual removal will damage the treads, and because of the lip, u cannot fit a bolt at the back.....
