The Rio kit is 10k extra. It really transforms the look. What make me upset is when I looked I the back seat and saw the manual winders...

My sentiments exactly.
Was looking for a car for my wife and the first place I went was Kia, and after doing some shopping around I really found that other brands had a lot more to offer with competitive pricing such as Massey with their Hyundai line and promotion and even ford with their ongoing promotion.
After seeing that, Kia was only an after taught...

yup i was disappointed after realizing they messed up the koup...and then other companies raising their game...mazda, ford, even volkswagen bringing more variants of the jetta to compete w the so-called affordable brands...so kia losing ground badly...when ppl wise up to the fact the cars pretty but offering less kit than others they will be in trouble...

Koup would have been great if they brought the 1.6 turbo ... Probably would have cost the same due to the higher mvt.

You serious damn...gf bought one around PCX, she would be pissed to own a car with winders in 2014...as much as her rear windows probably never went down

The Rio has two specs though. I still agree that manual windows are not cutting it in 2014. Bess they charge a lil more and include that.

From what i was told, the Ford Focus variant was going to come with some basic things like that, but they paid the extra up front to order vehicles with the "better features".

The focus is actually 175k right now with 2 years free maintenance...
Eco boost or not, that's a lot of value....

How much is this Rio minus rear power windows?

But seriously what's next a car without any power windows? :D it's like we going backwards now.

it's actually fun to drive a subcompact sedan with an adequate motor to pull it namely the 1.5 fiesta, 1.6 sonic and 1.5 city. Those 3 cars are light years ahead the rio/accent twins when it comes to handling. The 1.6 accent does have some surprising straight line capability though. Like lunch time, co-worker and I were heading to lunch and let's just say this little accent held its own off the line vs us in an 07' Accord 2.0...very nice. Gone are the days when small = basic and inadequate. I just really hope that SS brings in the 2015 Mazda 2 1.5 soon for say $150k intro price and it'll sell like hops bread.

Drove that 2014 fiesta and the 1.5 was unimpressive. I was surprised how underpowered it felt considering the size of the vehicle. It's extremely fuel efficient though. The Kia Rio a little peppier.
But the fiesta's chassis is well sorted out. Handles well.

I have to agree, the motor isn't very impressive but it is very good for the average commuter and is quite economical, what it cost me to full my daily for the week it costs to run the fiesta for almost three weeks. The handling however is superb but some 225 - 235 tyres the extra rubber would make it even better.
Would love to see the fiesta st 1.6 eco boost version locally.

will be interesting which model we'll be getting down here as the 3.7 V6 is actually cheaper than the 2.3 Turbo.
The last 3.7L V6 RWD car down here was the 370Z and I believe Steal & Rob-we was asking around $750K for that :/
