lol, tanx, yeah, thas a pvc elbow  . I figured once it doin the job, use it, lol, all it needs to do is get cooler air from up front up to that point. Better looking than the AC hose I used to have loose fitting over the airbox opening.

^nah nah..me ent laffin..we did a similar thing to my dad's laser 1.5 sohc engine... used the same intake 'pan' bizniss u have dey and incorporate a cone filter on it..i just find it real innovative the use of the elbow nah.. 8) ..we woulda make a lil plenum over the carbs but is twin carb so the pan was the only thing that wud fit over the carbs yes :?

Sounds cool............Hmm, if its a wooden floor, then it would be an MGA
The MGBs had a conventional metal floor....why a solex carb tho???

I guessin this is not in Trinidad.....

CA is your dad's car the soft-top MG that used to come in Angostura when he worked here? I always loved that car, can't quite remember his name.

I suspected it was Gerry's car but I din want to call names. We spoke a few times when I worked at Angostura...at the time the car had a metal floor. Glad he put back in the marine ply cuz the metal floor tends to soak exhaust heat, but the wood insulates against it.....he may remember me as the fella from marketing with the yellow MGB GT
