Depends on how much one drives. (20,000 miles) 32,000 km per year driving is a lot for the average person. This schedule would be drawn out over a longer period. For example I average about 25,000 km per year so haven't encountered expensive change outs like spark plugs for example.

That said the pic has errors in it as well. Pollen filter price is wrong for one (higher than reality). Oil price is also off. So would take this with a grain of salt. Also brake pads are usually checked and not just automatically changed. I find it hard to believe pads would be changed after 1 year.

I jus did my 30k service, had the car for just over 2 years. Apart from the regular oil and air filter changes other parts I had to change so far
Brakes (front set only)
Wiper blades
Battery
Front and rear cradle bushings
Tires

Had my jetta for 15 months now and only cost around $240 a month maintenance. 15K miles in the first year.

$1000 for oil change, filter and service.
Anyone with a new cerato, civic, corolla, elantra, cruze, focus wanna quote oil change, filter and service cost with their dealer for comparison?
