Cute!... But that's about the size of it... Cute!... and IMHO... pointless... especially for an Evo V.

Ignoring an engine (4G63T) that the automotive world recognises as producing the HIGHEST torque of any 2.0L, 4 cylinder motor EVER built for production OR competition (until Image's 4B11T)...
Sanctifier wrote:This 2.0L 4 cyl. revs to 11,000 + rpm... boosts to 86 psi Image ...and produces 1,400 BHP + if required :!:

BTW that combo ran ---> 6.9 sec. in 1/4-mile.
Video link--> MAGNUS 4G63: 11,000 rpm...@ ANY damn psi yuh want!

...and then replace it with a notoriously fragile motor... may be an "unusual" project... but just doesn't add up... especially not for drag racing.

My $0.02¢

More like a recurring decimal.

Just gave me more reason to stick a 13B in the Celica, heck was close to doing it twice this year.
And with plans on building one outside next year, why not.

These motors are not "fragile".
The so called "rotary tuners" are.

I know a guy who was told by one well know rotary tuner that his 13B in the RX8 had to be rebuilt because he was getting a vibration.

BT?

or Non Turbo?

Think the 13BT is around 14K

Non can run you around 9K. (sold one for 9K a while back)

Thing is people selling them normally scare the buyer by saying "that have no guarantee" :?

Rotary engines are like subaru boxer engines. They need care and if you do a rebuild your good for years. Might throw one in my grandfather datsun soon
