Pios, I followed this guy's method.
Note it will take a while, as you will be cutting glass with a DA, so cater a decent bit of time.
I wish I had a rotary to do mine.

Note if you can get your fingernail into the scratch, it would be too deep to be removed by compounding. It would be easier to replace (a windshield on one of my cars costs $700 to replace at ZZ).

Oh nah the glass is pretty smooth, I clayed it 2 weekends ago. Can't even "feel" the scratches but they're visible.

Pioneer you sure it was car plus you got the meguiar's wax for $150.00? I went yesterday and the lady told me two something for it. Found the same thing in Unipet for $150.00. Waiting for Bel Air to get back in stock and will buy where I get the best price.

People use any concentrated carwash really...other than that you'll have to ship something in yourself

Megs hyperwash supposed to be sweet

Depends on the amount of dirt I guess...I still rinse down and shampoo as usual

hahaha. That has happened to be before. I stayed there and waited for them to wipe it off. Anyway, glass cleaners like AG fast glass work ok on that. Or you could stick to a little soapy water. Only problem with the soap is that you then have to wipe that off too.

You do have to rinse and shampoo as usual after. Foam is just a prewash to remove grit and start losening grime..but it doesn't remove it all. As for soap for them, you'll need to bring that in yourself, or use whatever you find that's foamiest. I see online people tend to use the Meguiar's Gold class with their foam guns, but I've not been immensely impressed with that, but at least it's available locally. I like the Chem guys Maxi Suds, Honey Dew and Dodo BTBM personally. Maybe try the SmartWax since we have a dealer locally, but I've never tried their wash with a foam gun before. Also stay clear of the AG shampoo in the foam gun, although it is great for when you're actually washing after.

Pios, the ceriglass really is messy, I saw some pics of users and it looked like a gallon of milk was spilt on the windshield. But the thing does work, I only wish a rotary was available for use to make cutting faster. Once you wash and don't wipe the residue off the paint, you should be fine, as it will scratch badly. Several more passes are required with the DA than a rotary. I think I spent about 3 hours on my windshield alone.

Nowhere in Trinidad has anything like it in stock, nor do they even know what it is. Most glass suppliers/windscreen places just sell you glass/windscreens and care less what happens after.
