It's not my intention to be involved in the arguments on this topic. However, TTASA really needs to do better for Motorsport in this country. I paid 200 to go into their VIP seating and I was most disappointed. What did my 200 get me ?

1. A water logged grass floor under a tent with plastic chairs. Plastic chairs and mud don't mix so I opted to stand or sit on one of the orange barriers.

2. Parking on the inside.

3. Two food sellers located very far away which was a great inconvenience.

Overall there were no benefits to "VIP" and on this occasion a waste of time. There was actually a better arrangement some time ago where there were stands to sit on - why wasn't it done this time ?

I believe rules are good for all and should be applied equally. Marshalls of the event were removing persons from certain high risk areas - particularly the return strip and the grid. However, persons aligned to the president of TTASA (Mr. Ali) I was told, were allowed to stay in these areas. This is not right and there is nothing which mitigates these persons from risk as anybody else.

There were some really good runs and great machines - however, simple tweaks and improvements could make future events much better. TTASA really needs to improve and manage these events much better and ensure that the customer and persons who spend money to support be given value. I can afford to go to VIP which was less to be desired - far less for the persons who paid 50 to go general admission which was a mud-fest and really bad conditions.

Come on TTASA travel to Barbados and even small Grenada to see how they organize events like this and take some lessons.

Dude, boost factory destroyed every vehicle there today followed by Aaron's skyline. I am not aligned to either. Boost factory ran 171 miles and 9. Something but it was low.

boost ran a 9.4 as a 100% street classed car :D a personal LOCAL best ....bettering his previous 9.5
aaron ran a 9.3 in the FULL drag class, as is on par with Nic's Tercel which ran a SLIGHTLY faster 9.315

*note, boost factory still runs on the STREET CLASS SPEC TYRE: 28x10.5x15, keeping him as the FASTEST street car still standing for 2012.

as peter laquis went up in tyre size with a 29" tyre, taking him out of the street class, and managed to clock a 10.3

no doubt Richie sorting out the machine...there were a lot of issues & it didn't make sense for Frankie to beat himself up with sorting....when that car gets 'plumb'...watch out !!!
