So what I get from the article is you CAN'T crash your car , get another and do a vin swap, but what about lets say putting all the parts from a 300zx into a ole school cortina or escort or something. Is that illegal too?
...they sold cars 'spoon' civics etc to fellas in Trini before, don't know how, but I would like to find out.

putting all the parts from a 300zx into a ole school cortina or escort or something. Is that illegal too?... Nope, not as far as I know. You can also disassemble your 300ZX and ship parts to T&T in a container... and use the 300ZX engine/gearbox etc. in your Cortina/Escort/whatever. Then you MUST register the "change of engine" with the Licensing Office AND advise your Insurance Company... if not your Cortina will also be illegal (invalid Insurance.)
You can't use the 300ZX shell... except to repair a legally registered, locally licensed 300ZX... but it MUST be the identical model... and you can't screw around with the original chassis number or firewall etc.

...btw yesterday the POLICE brought in FOUR Licensing Officers for questioning about fraudulent activities!
