((((((BIG DADDY victorious at NSCRA round 2 PBIR))))))

Postby crispeed » July 6th, 2009, 2:46 pm

Big Daddy was victorious in the 6cyl outlaw class at the NSCRA import event this weekend at PBIR.
Vijay qualified #1 with a 8.84@162mph. He had a 'by' in round one and in round two he was matched against Charles Walker's 9sec 2JZ powered S2000. Vijay took the win against Charles and advanced to the final where he met up with last event's class winner Chris Gore's low 9sec MKIV supra. This was going to be a close one since both cars are pretty evenly match based on the day's results. Big Daddy ran a 9.13 to Chris's 9.11 but Vijay took the win on a hole shot.
Congrats Big Daddy and crew.

Here's the video of the finals.---->

Everyone was hiding from the heat. It was 116deg at the track. The actual track temp was way higher. I was hiding in the truck all day with the ac.running and it still was not cool enough. Once the rain came the temps dropped like 10degF. The racing was good though. The crowd was not that bad considering the rain treat and it was the day after July4th.
The racer turn out was very good for sure and there were some good racing going on in all the classes. A lot of out of state pro teams showed up including the clutchmasters entire crew and race cars and a couple of others I can't remember their names.

VJ don't know he supposed to take it easy on a bye run

Yuh know if Tito get that Porsche to hook off the line without breaking axles etc, it will run a low 9 second pass. Just look at how that car does accelerate from the 1/8. Anthony know if he don't catch him on the tree, he arse is grass on the top end
