thats why a Ford Shelby Mustang GT with a 319HP V8 cannot out-run it worse yet for the normal GT 300HP V8 and V6 210HP versions. Its as fast as a BMW 550i and a Pontiac G8 GT. Its a tick slower than the expensive exotic Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

Is that this Mustang you refer to?
Shelby GT-H, this latest hot-rod pony is simply dubbed "Shelby GT" and is, for the most part, a retail version of the GT-H rental car offered through select Hertz agencies.
Emm, ..... if you must compare the 350Z to that mess.

On another note, the Nismo 350Z can barely outrun a lowly 2.2L I4 S in its latest incarnations (it probably wins on a long courses where its power counts), and couldn't do it at all in its earliest days.

the yellow 350z tt I tuned is quite the opposite.
