It turned out to be perfect weather later in the evening , cold breeze + dry track + cloud cover = lower ET's

actually drove that exact R33 once..
wasn't that impressive..felt slow as hell but yet had tons of parts..

seemed as if all it needed was a good tune though...

did it run yesterday?

I guess you talking about Tripple R's Rotary .. The last time I saw this car was in Wallerfield and they were having some problems with it ...

I hope they get it sorted out .. That will be a very impressive machine to run against Monster Sunny or Puff N Stuff

peter laquis had the quickest street car time of the day he ran a 11.00 flat and stephen ran a 11.01 so the rotaries were the king of the drags yesterday yep

The R33 was Marcus' own, he lived a couple of houses from me, sat in it and I was not impressed seeing that it had the full monte of parts. He left and came back later the same year and when I met him he said he sold the thing for $150,000. Unluckily, it was the day before I met him or else it would have been mine. A case of the right car in the wrong hands. I heard that Pang bought it but who knows, the only thing was that when I went to buy the car he said he was still awaiting documents

. He says it was all legit though, had shits of parts but needed to get a good tuner.
