Dont let ur Honda pride cloud ur tinking we not dissin Honda jus stating facts. I saw a B11 Sunny wit a stock GTiR engine beat an evo 7 dat had nos real real bad. I not tryin 2 make no excuse 4 d supra. Stephanweaver i am d mechanic 4 d Tercel. Iz me who tuning it and i aint even change d turbo unit yet. D T28 going in only if a track open.

Anyways, as de man said, I ain't dissing no hondas (owned 2 of them) but in retrospect, I think that supra was slow. Have you all ever seen the vids of the central florida turbo civic?

wheyss fellas real fighting for this one...

IMO a smaller, lighter vehicle will run better in lower speed events but when it comes to top-end power and outright brute acceleration, weight plays less of an advantage and that's when the big HP car can really be impressive.
That's y stock japanese sports cars such as the evo, scooby, s2k,etc are so light and quick; let's say down a hill, but on a "full flat-out" acceleration run.... the bigger, torquier engines such as the ludicrously big Z06 7.0l V8 shows off

Now not becuz meh name is Hondaho ah saying this eh (well maybe) but having experienced ah modded N/A K20 in an ek and in an eg I can tell you that gutted and slightly modded they fly, I'm talkin low 12's. the car is impressive.
