how come you haven't sent a proposal to TTASA (or as you put it - Jameer Ali) for a car show at Camden ??
..
it's sooo difficult to lead by example.......
u only saying :
'marketing, cooperation,etc
does those words only apply to TTASA
neither CAmden nor wallerfield are suitable locations to hold a car show
both locations are out of the way for public transport
both locations are not safe to have a large public event at night
as well as other issues
as for the co-operation in 2006
IASCA extended the hand a while back when TTASA had a their drag event on the same day as an already scheduled IASCA event
2 tents were offered to TTASA to send some circuit racing vehicles to be on display and for TTASA to make a representation for motorsports at an event that would have been the ideal target to generate interest and educate the public about TTASA and motorsports
promises were made by officials of ttasa that vehicles would have been sent even some discussion on times of when the vehicles would come on trailors etc and what time they would leave
prime display locations were set aside to allow ease of access for the trailors etc
NOT A SINGLE CAR SHOWED UP nor a single official from TTASA was there
so LINK dont even start to tell me about co-operation with TTASA
We made the first move to form the alliance to work together
TTASA showed thier true colors
and history again repeated itslef in october 2007 when again TTASA announced another date out of the hat because "they were mandated"
fortunatly for us this time the event at camden was such a fiasco that turned off and turned away patrons decided to attend the show instead
and this time we did not lose money as we did in 2006
"does those words only apply to TTASA"
the answer is yes as we have tried already
lets see what 2008 brings
