he can be proven otherwise..
the best rb20 down here using an upgraded brain
for re-maps n stuff.check richard..(chester/richard)

whatever, what happens if he upgrades injectors, AFM, changes/upgrades turbo, rebuilds the engine? he;s got to send the ECU back to re tune and it would never, i repeat NEVER be as good as if the tuner had the car on the dyno when he tunned the ECU, simply guessing does NOT reveal the best results,
just cause you know of, or associate yourself with a quick RB20, doesnt mean you know everything and best about them son

there are better and faster, and a re-flashed ECU *insert sarcastic laugh here* like the big tuners/racers are cars are running re-flashed ecu's.. unless a tuner is using a socketed ECU that he can tune himself on teh Dyno real time using AFR's and timing/torque curves etc to tune it porperly, i aint touching it. eve then most ECU's (like the RB20) are 8bit compared to the 16bit and 32bit standalone and piggy back ecu's there are out there now, you can also adjust for things like bigger AFM's, cams , timing, change in octane, atmospheric blow off valves, bigger injectors, switching AFM to map etc etc, get the point
for a budget Apexi SAFC II or GREDDY E manage Ultimate for the win.. if you get a re-flashed ecu, chances are you'll still need some kinda controller to fine tune it when you go check you A/F ratios and timing on the dyno and you will prbably pick up power too.. they jsut cant guess it correctly and every car is different.
re-flashed ECU's were made propular when standalones, fuel and ignition controllers etc were expensive, now they are cheaper than the re-flashed ECU's..
