Water pooling on B14 driver floor

Postby Lance » October 5th, 2019, 10:44 pm

Anyone ever had issues with water pooling on the driver side floor? Only happens when rain falls.

I initially assumed it was the rubber on the door itself, but I recently changed the doors and the problem is still there.

It seems like it's coming down the A-pillar and draining down by the kick panel.

I know there is also the rubber seal that's attached to the body itself. Not sure it that might be the cause.

Also , not sure if water might be coming in through the cowl panel and pooling on the floor. I removed the plastic panels but couldn't see any possible entry point.

Just checking with the forum to see if anyone ever had a similar problem.

Trying to avoid having to pull down the entire dash.

There may also be a leak at the antenna roof grommet. Check for water on the antenna cable.

I had this hunch initially. But I checked it out.

Everything seems good from this end.
