I am getting a smell of sulphur when I am driving. My mechanic say's it the calaytic converter. He recommend removing it. Any suggestions on what to do ? Should I remove it ? If I remove what effects will it have on my vechicel ? Is there anything I can do to solve the problem other than removing it?

Remove it before it get clogged more & start causing the engine to backpressure

had similar problems...what i did was went out and bought a foreign used catalytic converter which worked out very good. Gutting it makes yur fuel consumption sky rocket and also gives off a very high gas scent from the exhaust.....just get a foreign used one and replace it and u will be good
