So i got into this accident and decided to call Ventura Auto Body. Car was fully comprehensive and I wanted a good job done. Now this is not meant to be an indictment against this company's workmanship but when i called i spoke with the receptionist (or i assume was the receptionist) and this is how it went. Keep in mind I haven't been in an accident in 20 years so i'm familiarizing myself with the process.

Me "Hello good morning, i got in an accident and i want your company to do the repairs can i bring it in for an estimate?"
Receptionist " Is it fully comprehensive?"
Me "Yes it is"
Receptionist "Well Sir you will have to bring it in and we can do it"
Me "is there a fee for the estimate?"
Receptionist "Yes sir it is about $500 but it would most likely be less"
Me "how long does the estimate take?"
Receptionist "Well I CANNOT know THAT Sirrrrrrrr!!!!, I CANNOT see your vehicle to KNOW THAT until you BRING it IN! , we have to call around to find what parts it needs Sir" (Real Attitude)

(So i'm thinking, OK i didn't know i was back in primary or high school)

Me " well just a ball bark time 2 days 3 days?"
Receptionist "Well it Might take about 2days" (more attitude)
Me "Ok then thank you good bye"

Well needless to say i went elsewhere. Again this is not an indictment against their workmanship, which i am quite sure is excellent. But boy oh boy, their customer relations leaves much to be desired.
