SR20 VVL Thermostat

Anybody here ever ran one of these engines without it? Did you notice anything different?

These have a sensor on the thermostat?

VVL needs the thermostat. The throttle has another thermostat that controls the cold and warm idle. Coolant flows through the throttle. Without the thermostat on the coolant line you will have idle issues.
