RB20 DET Hard-starting

So recently I've been getting a hard-start/ start stutter and cutoff. if i pump the pedal whilst tumbling it stutter and starts up. also whilst idling the exhaust has a rich-burn smell. Last month i had #1 wasn't firing, coilpack wasn't getting the signal. bought a ignitor and still didn't work. Next day car work like normal. i did nothing it just start back firing normal, so i replaced the ignitor with the 1st one.

I have similar problem with a rb25det. When cold it stuters till warm. Then on some days no problem at all. Still tryin to figure it out.

Change your six coilpacks/harness aswell as plugs.

can u recommend a type of plug? Heat range etc.

NGK coppertip heat 7 works good.Its cheaper than irridium lasts longer.

go with a GM coilpack.
