Y11/ Almera cradle bushings

Anyone ever used b12 front cradle big bushings on the y11/Almera cradles?
The original bushing lasts about 3-5 months on the taxi service whilst it was the b12 bushing giving
About a 1.5 years.

is it original B12 bushings or generic like RBI.??
different bushings are made differently the OEM nissan will give a nice soft comfortable ride but may not hold out on taxi service. the generic may not give a comfortable ride like the oem but it lasts longer due to a slightly stiffer rubber they use.

if its taxi work - i'd highly recommend the energy suspension - and before the nay says it not good for taxi work remember you need to replace ALL the bushings on the suspension - not just on the cradles- and u also need to get the strut bar to brace it to hold everything together. :!:

also u need to ensure the other components are also good - steering rack inner and outer and the ball joint on the cradle.

men does put the poly bushing only on the cradle and say it ridin too rough...etc..and then take it back out. :!:

quality of the bushings is one thing, proper installation is the next, the rear bushing needs to be installed at the correct angle and this depends on the individual car and if it is lowered or raised.

then the front bushing needs to be tightened when the car is resting on its wheels.

The energy suspension bushings work well, make sure and get the black.

The RBI work well, maybe other brands out there as well.

excellent info there - edit. front busing needs to be tightened with the car is resting on all 4 wheels on a FLAT surface and vehicle is unladen - ie only fuel and spare tyre and hand tools.

installation of bushings can also affect wheel camber- so pay attention to that-
I did some research and it seems that you can change some settings based on the positioning of the bushings

remember correct alignment depends on 4 things
camber, caster toe in and toe out

I pressed in the b12 RBI bushings and they work great!

for now. if you doing taxi work...they will not last as long as the poly bushings. also how you drive affects service life of the bushings :!:
