^that is the auto sensor to turn the park lights on when it gets dark. check ur headlight switch. make one turn as if ur gonna turn on the park lights,it wont come on,on the second click it will right?

turn the first click and leave it,when it senses darkness the park light will come on automatic.(providing the sensor working)

or it can be a factory alarm LED!
