SR20 IDLE prob/fuel cut ?

Professional responses appreciated. :agrue:

SR20 high port engine.

idles rough as though the ECU or MAF is not for the engine,as a result advancing distributor helps to ease to rough idling by bring up the idling.

i would like to know what letters would a highport ecu and MAF hav...as well a if a low port ecu will work normal on a highport engine?

another issue is at 160- 170km or so i get a fuel cut and then it picks up back...fuel pump,fuel filter and plugs are all gd and recently replaced.

what can i do to stop this fuel cut or is it directly related to the ECU or MAF being the wrong part and as a result throwing off my timing?

clean the MAF,TB, IACV and check ur FPR,swap it with another. see if it helps. process of elimination is ur friend!

the fuel cut is from factory and ECU related. 180km fuel cut. u can try a SLD or upgraded ECU with no limits. stick to the factory for now IMO!

cleaned all of the above and the FPR is ok as I checked the nut..
factory fuel cut is at 180km..i get more than that from my car...i get it at 160-170km.and then it kicks up back...
