I am having this same problem with my Nissan B12 QG almera engine swap.

This also happened to me in a civic with a kill switch that had the same issue and the car just cut power on me while driving and it was because my kill switch solder broke and the circuit was set to on killing fuel to the engine.

Same exact thing happened in the B12 while driving.

I have been reading up that an issue with these engines is the immobilizer malfunctioning which is built into the ECU of the engine (so there is no wire to try a thing) from what I gather I may be wrong.

Is there anyway to fix this without changing the ECU ?
