Yo people was wondering if the SR20de UK redtop 10.1 parts can be used as upgrades to a normal sr20de like the blacktop?? I have a overheated UK and I know the headers are bigger, injectors bigger & the camshaft is different so was thinking to swap those parts into a SR20de blacktop. What are everyone thoughts on this? Possible? Any issues I will encounter?

The SR20 De black top, is this not the VE engine?

sorry I mean from the redtop UK to a normal sr20de silver or black. I've seen normal SR20de that are black top and they were not vvl. They had Nissan Twin Cam 16valve on it, seen a few premiers with it unless it was painted.

yea most likely painted. there is lemme see....blue top (sr16ve, ve n1), black top (sr20ve), red top (uk), green top (sr20de autech tuned, japan), silver top, (sr20de)

and these are all NA fwd engines....AFAIK

There is a black top UK Spec SR20DE, it came in the P11 GT.
Comes with a Bosch ECU, and Lucas electronics.

i didn't know there were DE black top's non VVL. I would have thought it was painted if u didn't say otherwise..

As far as the Headers are concerned, I bought a set of F/U Red Top UK Spec SR20 DE Headers and it was mated bolt for bolt on my SR20 DE. (P11 Primera.)
P.S. - I was actually there on site too when they took it off!

Saw a grey top one,not sure what vehicle it came out from though.had a small filter like box on top of the tappit cover.
