Goodnite, my wife recently purchased a roro ad, the engine is a hr15 with a non-cvt tranny. When i checked the tran oil i recognized it was strangely very low (below the low marking). She then took back the car to the dealer and after explaining the prob he topped up with the nissan cvt ns2 oil!!!!

Could this do any damage? And where can we buy the original matic j oil? massy out of stock!

U sure its not CVT right? Dipstick will say NS-2. Also in case you have the wrong dipstick look at the silver tag in the engine bay and at the tranny code. The CVT tranny will look physically different, have someone that knows look at it.
If its not CVT then it is not the right oil so you should get the oil changed and flushed, because it is now contaminated.
you can use Dextron III to substitute for the nissan oil
If you planing on shelling out the $ for the genuine oil best you use the Amsoil ATF and done.

I honestly don't know it might be ok and then again not.
your particular instance has not happened before that I heard of, normally the Rooster up is ppl put regular fluid in the cvt tranny and generally because its widely available and relatively cheap. Not the other way around, at roughly $450 for 4L, its an expensive mistake.
A week is not an indication of running hours or mileage, one man's week from icacos to POS and another from diego to POS is not the same. you could probably chance it for the odd small run with gentle driving, how much did he put in 1/2q ,1q? If 1/2q or less then chances are good I would say you could run the week.
