no kickdown

Postby jasp » October 7th, 2012, 11:06 am

i recently bought an ad wagon and when i start it the car moves very slowly. it gradually accelerates. however when i switch off and start again it drives normal.

this mainly happens at mornings or when the car isn't driven for a couple of hours.

anyone have an idea what this could be

Could be the throttle cable is loose. I dont have an AD , I drive a b14.
The throttle cable came loose on my car, the bracket holding it broke.
The car accelerated very slowly sometimes and other times like nothing was wrong. I though the transmission was going but it was the cable. Fixed it with a $2 cable strap.
