Hey peeps, I have a 2007 roro tiida, and I am experiencing a problem where the engine light comes on and the car still runs normal but the only problem is that I am restricted in going up pass 2,500 rpms and when that happens the car starts to buck hence I am not able to use the kick down. Also the engine light mostly comes off when I take a long drive like from chaguanas to south and then it comes back on.Once again the engine still runs normal, no problems what so ever, so do all have any ideas as to what to do in this situation or just carry it and do a diagnostic? Thanks

Sounds like a sensor problem, carry the car to get a diagnostic test.

Did anyone did work on the throttle body area?

No since I had the tiida I never really went to sort out the problem, just the usual oil changes was done, however only on one occasion I was carrying the car by another mechanic to do a diagnostic, only to see the engine light turn off before I reached by the mechanic. The mechanic said he think its a gas quality problem but I tried filling with premium and the problem still occurred so therefore I stuck to super all the way. So I guess I'll try and get this checked out. Any other suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

That is new...never heard of that. Usually disconnecting the battery pole for 12-15 minutes usually does the trick of resetting however that wont solve the problem that he is experiencing.
