Hi everyone...
I am trying to help out my aunt who has a PBH local almera.. qg16 engine.. Automatic trans
What is happening is that if you are parked facing downhill on an incline (even a very slight one)... If you put the car in reverse as soon as you touch the gas, the vehicle cuts off and you have to start the engine again..
It does not stall as soon as you engage reverse, but only stalls when you press the accelerator trying to reverse..
On the other hand, if its flat road, you can reverse all day no trouble... I assume it has something to do with whenever reverse gear is force to work hard (eg. taking the car up an incline)
I tried asking around but no one really seems to know what the problem is on this.. The vehicle isnt throwing an engine light or transmission light so there are no codes to read..
Does anyone know any anything about this unique problem and any possible solution?
Thanks
