For a stock sr20 fwd would a normal plastic radiator hold out good??? Or do i HAVE to use a metal one?
I know the metal is stronger, but just curious. Don't the p11 cars come with normal plastic radiator?

The metal is always the best, most likely you will have to make one or go aftermarket.

plastic will work fine, metal is easily repaired. u can get a metal radiator, brand new in them parts place all over. metal is a good investment and much more reliable than the plastic.

Brass or Aluminum, your choice.
Brass is cheaper but Aluminum cools better and is lighter.
There is a guy here selling the aluminum ones and most radiator shops stock the brass ones.

Ravi - most cars come with radiators with plastic top and bottom "tanks" or covers. The fact that your engine is stock has no bearing on plastic or no plastic. The plastic ones are more prone to cracking / breakage and hence leakage.
If you want to go the real cheap route - you can have a radiator place replace the plastic covers with metal (brass) ones onto the same core. The next expensive option is to get a brass radiator.
*I believe the stock Primera radiator is two core? Can someone confirm this?
The next step us is Aluminum as Furlz said. The radiator place would have to of course put back on the bolt holes to line up the fan assembly. I hope that helps.
