Fixed - sr20det not passing 2000rpm

This is the first problem the car has given in the 1 year I've owned it. My sr20det at first began dropping rpm so low it cuts off and it does that often. so i sent it into the garage. mech says he checked it out, tuned it up and said doesn't seem like anything's wrong. i said fine. I got the car back yesterday. I drove it to work this morning fine everything is wonderful, rpm staying put, car running smooth. Nice

Just now, I went to full my gas tank and as soon as i came out of the gas station, the car doesn't go above 2000 rpm and if i mash the x hard, it stutters and bucks violently. On every gear, i cant climb more than 2000 rpm, but the rpm stays stable and the car no longer cuts off. I called my mech and he says it could be the tank not getting air but he lock up shop till after boxing day!!

Im from the east and I need my car for work as I visit different sites. Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening or at least point me in the right direction?

dude your care works on air in the tank? wow thats amazing. So wait you does pull up by the air hose section to feul up?
check the jack on the maf

ras i dunno...thats what the man said.lol. buttt i got it fixed. those boys from Kingston 12 took a look at it for me and sorted it out in abt 15 mins. changed out maf.
