Quickest GT-R crown.
The "follow-the-bouncing ball" battle for World's Quickest R35 GT-R has landed in AMS Performance's side of the net. With famed Diamond Star wheelman John Shepherd at the controls, AMS toppled SP Engineering's 9.62-second e.t. record with runs of 9.52 at 150 mph and a follow-up run of 9.33 at 152 mph after convincing track officials to allow them one more run (technically, the car isn't legal to be making sub-10-sec passes without a rollcage).
