Does ne one know what type of ATF and engine oil i should use in the J-31(Facelift).
Brands are welcome.with personal performance history as well

If you have cvt (which I doubt) then I really don't know what fluid to use.
If the transmission is the non-cvt, J-matic (whatever the hell that is :roll:

), which is the transmission used by the 200jk and 230jk/jm pre-facelift models, then motorist/massey recommends that you use this.....as recommended by Nissan.

$52 a quart....you'd need about 8-10 quarts.....

I presently use Amsoil 10W30 in my motor.........use to use mobil 1 10w30 with oil changes at around 7000km + oem oil filter, but decided to try amsoil.....the motor feels slightly more responsive....or it could just be in my mind...lol

the J31 full service manual is posted in the sticky in this board if you wish to download......It's pre-facelift but mechanically ought to be the same as yours!
