As people are asking, I have a slight problem too. With the car (P12) in drive and stopped in one spot, it will idle normally for about 10 seconds, then shudder like it wants to cut off for about one second then the process will repeat until I start moving. No issues with acceleration etc. Any ideas on what is causing this?

My brother having this same problem with his P12, went by a few mechanics and no one seems to know the problem, he even changed the sensors and still nothing. The car will run fine and just so it starts to buck sometimes he idling by the traffic light like 2day and when is time to pull off it eh wanna move. It feels like a caborator engine when you now start and it cold how it takes a while to build up. Yesterday he driving up the h'way crusing about 80-90 and the speed starts dropping for itself, mashing X and it barely wanna go. We just pull aside for a few min & den it start to work good. Can anyone tell me where & how we can fix this?

Sounds like a sensor. However, I had a friend who had a similar problem and it ended up being a faulty coil pack... on a 2002 323.

Will need a scan from what you guys are saying then. Anil, can you PM me your contact info please?

On another related note, filled up with some bad gas on Monday ($200 premium), car started bucking like crazy when cold, cutting off, lots of white smoke. Put in an octane boost which helped when it warms up to operating temp but the white smoke is still there and backfiring when cold still. Hoping to finish burn it out today but my question is, would this cause additional problems after I refill with good gas again?
