SR20ve Manual conversion

Postby superbad » February 15th, 2010, 3:03 pm

tuners..i have a P11 primera that came with the Sr20ve engine & cvt-m6 tranny. I did a complete manual conversion to a sr20 lsd gearbox. everything on the car works fine except one thing..the rev limit is only 5000rpm and i cannot go beyond this. Is there anything else I can do to rectify this problem since the original rev limit was much higher.

Not too sure but resetting the ecu might fix that.If no luck there, check your wiring. Are you sure its not just your gauge thats not passing 5000 rpm :?

Ok here's the deal I converted from Sr20de HYPERCVT to manual.
If you look where the ECU is there is another box which is the TCM which is the Transmission Control Module. On this box there are two jacks or harnesses.
I disconnected the GREY jack and now I get FULL RPM.
If you disconnect the white jack the ABS light comes on. So don't disconnect it.
Now I haven't tested my Brakes as yet to make sure ABS is working but I think it is.
Also bear in mind I am sr20DE HYPERCVT not sr20VE CVTM6.

yeah bro. Ive got the same setup on my primera wagon, SR20ve w/ LSD gearbox. thunder7554 is correct..the grey jack on the TCM must be disconnected. I'm sure u'r enjoying the hell outta the car now.
