speedometer problem

the speedometer shows a speed more than the actual speed....for instance it reads about 100kmph while the car is doing around 40

car originally had a 4wd sr20de but swapped it out for a gtir det

any ideas on fixing this???

Your speed sensor on the transmission needs to be replaced. The one with the big jack.
