b15 alternator info needed

Postby Rebelb14 » July 2nd, 2008, 2:30 pm

I was going through sr20forum and i came across an article about alternators, the end result being that the b15 alternator is supposedly the best to use in GA and SR series engines, bookmarked the page but cant seem to find it now.

Low and behold me alternator in me b14 ga15 engine giving trouble.
I could get another b14 alt but thats just boring.

Anybody know other options for a replacement?

So i wanna know if anybody ever use a b15 alternator as an alternative? :(

qg15=80A
Qg18=90A

In most cases you need to switch your pulley onto the qg alt. Might have to make/machine a bushing depending on ID of GA pulley.
