2002 wingroad rim size help

hey tuners i need some help.....I HAVE A 2002 MODEL WINGROAD

i brought some rims by andy's in the east dis weekend and its rubbing when 3 average size and weight people sit in the back....i dont know if the offset is off or the tyres are too wide IM RUNNING 225 45 17 TIRES ...the car is stock height.


the rim is Azul Speed 5

ANY SOLUTIONS TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM

225 tyres seem too wide

U could use 215's or Widen the fender :|

so my rims aint too wide or my offset is off right ..........its all the about my tyre size?

ill go 205's to be safe wen im buying new tyres

i also get some steering kickback when on rough roads.......can the tire size cause this too?

a 7.5 wide rim is a bit wide IMO....hence when u have weight in the back,the rear fender lips may touch on the outer edge of the tyre.....

the offset seems ok

is the car lowered?

the car is stock height........i notice that the walls of the tire laps over the rim.....another guy in work has a different brand but his tire walls are straight.

rims on my wingroad wrap with 215 35 18 tires and nothing is touching. even picked up some family in the airport with all their luggage and had no problem.

i suggest 215 wide tires or less.

215/45/17 is the way to go.
