Mine's 2009 Nissan GT-R (R35) Performance Parts & Info

Postby carfreak » January 8th, 2008, 2:15 am

A mere 3 weeks since the all new 2009 GT-R was delivered to dealerships in Japan, the top premier Nissan tuner, MINE'S has already come out with a line up of performance aftermarket parts for the GT-R. Some how the math doesn't add up how in the hell they pulled it off so fast but lets just imagine that Mine's prez Niikura-san made his employees work day and night without sleep to get these products developed quicker than anyone else in the world. This also means that by the time the GT-R hits the streets States side, Mine's will already have parts available for anyone who wants to go faster than the other guy in line.

Oh i also 4get to tell all yuh they dynoed the GT-R with their Silence -VX Pro Titan II exhaust and Super Catalyzer II installed to produce an additional impressive 20hp. The stock GT-R is rated at 480hp at the flywheel, while the dyno results revealed 500.95hp at the flywheel with MINE'S exhaust system installed. This is good news, considering the fact that the ECU was not altered in any way, and indicates that the new GT-R has plenty of potential straight out of the factory

for a car like the gtr, it makes sense to have perf shops produce these parts because the main market will be ppl who want to increase performance....

they(tuning shop) can sometimes get the car before its released from the company(manufacturer)........has happened before....think it was with an American car.....cant remember exactly though.
and remember mine's focus is really on engine management, not really hardware, usual re-flash and whatever, when they actually get to that stage it would be impressive......
as for the exhaust, remember its a twin turbo, any improvement on flow in the exhaust will bring great improvements, and the same is for the intake......
