what kind of injectors would I need to get if upgrading the Rb25det, the low or high impedence? can I just put it in and the ecu would do the work or will I need a aftermaket system?

How much the injectors would cost if it's 570cc?

larger injectors will require a fuel controler u can use the s15 injectors if u can get 6 think there bout 470cc round there would work exact in the rail

they're high impedance side feed injectors that come stock in the SR20det and RB25det. how much more fuel do you need?

the most common upgrades are either finding S15 480cc injectors, or change to a top feed rail and use OEM RX7 injectors (13B-REW=550cc, 20B=850cc)

RB25DET, non-NEO,
Stock 370cc Side Feed High Impedance, Lag time = .67ms

Denso 195500-2020 Top Feed High Impedance 550cc Injectors (OEM RX7 Fitment), Lag Time = .73ms

PFC cc Correction Factor = 67%
PFC lag correction Factor = +.06ms

damn, you guys have it down to a T. Well I haven't decided how much extra psi of boost, so I assume I should get a fuel controller and put the injectors I figure would sustain my future upgrades.

tell me what mods you are doing, and the amount of boost you are going to push...i would be able to help you a bit more with this information.

well haven't got the engine yet, just exploring options. Gonna upgrade but have to see which engine I'm going with first.
If I do go with a RB I would like to have about 18psi boosted.

thats too much boost for a stock motor

the rb25 can handle 18psi on stock internals d head gasket will hav to be changed cause the stock one ruptures round 15 or 16 psi but with a good tune u can run 18 psi ,fuel though is most important proper pump, regulator an good injectors along wit minor tings like plugs etc

so you'd drive an RB25 daily on 18psi?

that's like saying you'd drive an RB20 daily on 14psi daily with stock turbo.

we all know the limits of the RB's, best thing to do is stay under those limits, because anything nissan built is not your best friend.

nah it wouldn't be daily drivin, more like once ro twice a week

psi isnt a good means to judge.........bhp goal and torque is what u should b considered, cuz 18psi through a straw and a 3 inch pipe is two different worlds.....

i drove my 25 on 18 psi for a while before i did any real work on it there are rb running 20psi wit just a management on stock internals if u kno wat u are doing it can be done, but like i said a few upgrades are needed
