melting plugs

what are the factors that cause this to happen an if it happens is there a good chance of damage to pistons or any other internal parts?...any help welcome

Overheating or detonation.
Check your plugs for the correct heat range
Check for correct air-fuel mixture
Check for vacuum leaks
Check for faulty oxygen sensor
You get the idea

took out the plugs an saw a high colour pink around them never saw this on plugs before
does this happen when it leans out as well changed the plugs an one on my injectors an the missing eased up but its missing at idle but as i step on the gas it runs smoothe checked the coil packs all fireing seeing sum black smoke on idle cud it be overfueling?? any suggestions??

What car, engine, etc?
Sounds like an air flow sensor problem.

its a c33 medalist with an rb25det spec 2 engine automatic car did not come wit the engine i had the guy run over the wireing all good
tried another brain box to see if the ignitor in the brain was goin but still missing
i outa ideas

Tubbo...
Turn down the boost, and check if your missing goes away.
Ensure that your fuel pump is up to the task.
But.. you missing at idle... so reduce your spark plug gap.
Check for vacuum leaks too.. will cause missing at idle.
Have the injectors serviced. Check your oxygen sensor.
So much things could be wrong...
Get a diagnostic done
Try Darren Cassey in Gasparillo. 650-3864.

found the problem another injector was sticking changed it out an she running tops thanks for d help bless

on another note if the plugs are not the correct heat range for the car that is the plug is a bit to much on the cold side (not sure if theres such a ting) will this cause ah saught of miss or ruff idle ?
