okay guys hears one for you....... i want to know what is the best gearoil avaible to use in a sr20det 5fwd gbox
as in terms of :

durability of box and oil in constant usage (my driving attitude is rough)

Castrol Hypoy Cgear oil, it's about $35/quart....works excellent!

Hey Guys & gals what is the quantity of oil need for the 5fwd sr20 gear box, from totally empty i.e no oil in box

I think it's 2.5 quarts.....I'm not 100% sure on that......

i using Belray Hypiod SAE 90w in my sr box, and that does wukk real good, the box takes bout 2.5 quarts.....

also yuh cud throw in ah treatment, the molyslip bess....

ok guy so i got the Belray Hypiod SAE 90w payed $84 for the 3 qrts not too bad a price 2.5 quarts just about half on the speedo gear i think it jus about right amount. ????

why u using the speedo gear as your measurement, why u not using the filler, i believe yuh suppose to fill tru the filler till full then allow any excess to overflow while the car is in a level position.... :roll:

is not sooo :?:
