How do you know its the wrong brain?

Gears can at different RPM's depending trottle postion, torque convertor ,tranny oil condition, mods to engine(increasing torque) etc.

proper shift points at WOT would be about 6800rpm

get the right tranny ECU.. do a search for the part number online and take that to the scrap/bamboo
